Commerzbank leases additional office space in Frankfurt
Commerzbank has leased 15,000 m² of additional office space in the "Pollux" building, Platz der Einheit 2 in Frankfurt am Main, as part of its ongoing integration with Dresdner Bank.
"The lease represents another milestone in Commerzbank's consistent policy of utilizing floor space more efficiently. We have taken advantage of the attractive rent level and become the anchor tenant in a prime location," says Arno Walter, divisional board member organisation at Commerzbank.
The office space will be used for project and interim work to accelerate the moving together of staff from Commerzbank and Dresdner Bank. By the end of 2011, 80% of all staff at the Frankfurt headquarters will have completed the move to their new workplaces in the various buildings in the city region.
