Commerzbank's Asset Management is a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) - a United Nations partner initiative for investors (UNEP FI and UN Global Compact). With its international network, the PRI initiative is dedicated to the practical implementation of its responsible investment principles. The aim is to better understand the impact of investment activities on ESG criteria, i.e. environmental and social aspects, as well as means of sustainable corporate governance (ESG = environment, social, governance).

With the signing, we are demonstrating that sustainability criteria has become an increasingly important consideration in our investment decisions. We believe that companies that consistently and strategically address ESG issues hold remarkable competitive advantages and attractive opportunity-risk ratios. By implementing the PRI and thus integrating ESG criteria into our investment approach, we want to provide for sustainable added value for our clients and break ground in a rapidly changing society.
