Documentary requirements and processing formats vary greatly – especially in Trützschler Card Clothing’s (TCC) Asian markets – making it complicated and time-consuming for TCC to settle its export business reliably and transparently. Letters of credit (L/Cs) are often very complex and require highly specific L/C business expertise in general and L/C-compliant document preparation in particular, all of which ties up capacity within the company. TCC opted for Commerzbank’s alternative to an in-house solution: the trade.docs+ documentary service. Our specialists take over many of the steps previously handled by TCC staff. This enhances the efficiency and reliability of TCC’s processes and allows the company to allocate internal resources to strategic tasks instead.
Our trade.docs+ documentary service is always customised to meet specific requirements, so that our clients receive exactly the service they need. For example, most of the letters of credit that we process for TCC require a Certificate of Origin from the Chamber of Commerce (IHK). Commerzbank is able to obtain these certifications directly and digitally from IHK using an additional account set up by TCC.
